Hey, have I got a deal for you!
Let’s all help President Trump with his out-of-the-box proposal to transform the Gaza Strip into the “Riviera of the Middle East.”
I propose selling timeshares in a magnificent new TRUMP Gaza Casino and Hotel.
I know, I know. Trump ran his previous casino operations into the ground, but this is different. He’s now the president, not just a New York City real estate mogul. There will be a presidential brand on the new venture. Friends of The Donald will flock to invest on what his son-in-law Jared Kushner called “valuable waterfront property.”
You can even buy your timeshare in Trump’s new cryptocurrency — $Trump. Forget any conflict of interest in using the president’s new side venture into crypto money. Conflicts of interest is an anachronism from pre-Trump times.
I know, I know. Not a single Middle Eastern leader has signed up for these timeshares or Trump’s big idea, with the possible exception of Isreal President Netanyahu. Understand, though, that genius leaders are often ahead of the crowd. And, that the president is a master of “the art of the deal.”
For example, he would surely get concessions from Netanyahu that the Israelis will never bomb the property with a TRUMP sign out front.
Think about other positives. There are two million Palestinians and many are looking for good jobs. There will no shortage of inexpensive labor. Better yet, they can be paid with $Trump currency. It doesn’t have to be printed money.
Trump is flexible. He originally suggested relocating two million Gazans to surrounding countries, but then realized that his proposed real estate development will need a workforce. Problem solved as his new Riviera comes alive.
On reflection after his proposal, Trump told reporters, “Everybody loves it.” You can take him at his word.
There are other opportunities that must be in Trump’s fertile mind. He could sell TRUMP steaks and TRUMP wines at the casino hotel, adding to the overall charm of the place.
If you buy a timeshare, you may get a discount on steaks and wines if shipped from the U.S.
TRUMP University could also be resurrected from insolvency to offer seminars and lectures on business-savvy.
A giant real estate development would also mean that Trump wouldn’t have to send American troops into Gaza as he originally suggested.
American construction companies could be contracted to rebuild the Gaza infrastructure and destroyed buildings, as our president generously suggested.
It’s an “America First” win all the way around.
Can you picture yourself on the Mediterranean beach outside the TRUMP Casino-Hotel with a Wisconsin brandy old-fashioned in hand?
